Pepsi
is a female bunny. She is quite chunky and has thick fur, which is
part of her Rex heritage - they are known to feel like velvet. She is
very shy around most people. She can also be aggressive sometimes,
especially defending "her" hutch, but she lets me pick her up and groom
her. She did have problems with her back teeth - rabbits' teeth grow
throughout their life, so they need to have things to chew on to wear
them down. She has had to have them ground down a couple of times which
was quite expensive. But I changed her food and she has been okay ever
since. Thank goodness. So Pepsi would like everyone to know to have
their vets check their rabbit's teeth, just in case, so they never have
to go through that.
Pepsi has a big cage in my shed where several other animals also have
their cages, and she can go outside through a hatch in the shed to her
own outside run, and she gets out to run every day - at least when it is
nice out. She sometimes does not like the weather, so chooses to stay inside.
