This
is Slinky, I am not sure of his age. He's a baby though. Slinky is an
Albino checkered garter snake.
Slinky is special because he is such a beautiful snake. I had originally
started looking at corn snakes, but one day they showed me him and his
other two cage mates, and it was basically love at first sight. Well,
after doing lots of research and reading about his species as much as I
could, I felt like I was confident enough to handle getting a snake like
him.
Slinky is actually a friendly snake, though. I've been holding him so he
could get used to being handled and slowly he is coming out of his shell.
He will actually sit in the palm of my hand now instead of trying to
escape. This is my first pet snake, and I couldn't be happier that I got
him. He's great.
