Hi'ya,
I'm Nicholas, the lucky guy who was adopted by my mom and dad when
I was about two months old in 2005. I also have five very pretty female
cavy neighbors who share Mom and Dad's home with me. Mom and Dad named me
after our veterinarian, a cool dude who takes good care of us kids
whenever we get a boo-boo.
Since I'm the only cavy guy in the house, I have my own bachelor pad, and
I like to move my cardboard house all around in my cage while I'm inside
of it. I love all the attention I can get, and Mom always laughs when I
start moving my house around. Mom and Dad say that I'm like a little
bull-dozer, so that's why they gave me a toy bull-dozer (top picture) for
my second birthday in 2007.
All that house bull-dozing gives me an appetite, and I like baby carrots,
romaine lettuce, spring mix, raddichio, baby spinach, grapes, apples, hay,
and of course my pellets. My most favorite veggie is parsley, but Mom
lets me have a little bit of parsley every day because too much of it
could cause bladder stones, she said.
I love getting a daily ear-rub from Mom. I also like to play
hide-and-seek with Dad in the morning when Dad gives all of us our
breakfast veggies.
