My
two chinchillas are Huffin and Puffin. This is the newer guy, Huffin,
when he was six months old. His color is stunning, to say the least.
Huffin is a mild-mannered and easy going chinchilla. In the beginning
Puffin was not altogether friendly to him, but within a few hours they
were friends.
They take naps next to each other and share treats. It's cute to see them
eating a piece of oat hay each starting at opposite ends. When they reach
the middle it looks like they're kissing. I'm so thankful Huffin and
Puffin became good friends. They're both wonderful to have around. Huffin
is such a sweetheart. And it is good that he adjusted easily, and became a
friend for Puffin when he needed one. He's such a laid-back guy and so
soft to touch that you just have to love him!
