Daffy
is a Rouen Duck, and Peeps is mix of two different kinds of ducks.
Ducks are great pets they are very entertaining and fun to play with. We
got Daffy two years ago on St. Patrick's day, and we hatched Peeps out of
an incubator one year ago. We let our ducks out in the yard every day. In
this picture, they are waiting for me to put fresh water in this bowl - it
is out in the yard, so freezes at night in the winter. They love to wander
around, and even though they're not supposed to leave the yard, they
sometimes do. Whenever they leave the yard all we have to do is call their
names, and they will come home.
Daffy and Peeps love to go swimming in their pool. They also love to eat
fish. Once they got into our pond and ate all of the goldfish in the pond.
They knew that they weren't supposed to go in the goldfish pond but they
did anyway, that's ducks for you! I love to play with Daffy and Peeps. All
of our neighbors love our ducks. Ducks are great pets to have. They are
very kind, fun, and entertaining!
