LP
is four feet long and is a very happy, loving Ig who loves to cuddle.
LP has his very own room that has been decorated in a Jungle theme to
make him feel at home. He likes to look out his window and listen to
his radio in the day and at night he likes to climb on his climbing
towers and then he falls asleep on the top of one. Every night his Mom
takes him off his perch and puts him in house to sleep where there is a
heating pad to keep him warm.
LP's previous owners didn't know about the proper care he required, so
he now has a deformed lower jaw from Metabolic Bone Disease. His vet
says he is OK now, but his jaw will never be the same. Hey, it just
makes him more distinctive, he is still a handsome guy as far as we are
concerned. We hope that anyone who sees this and is thinking of getting
an iguana for a pet does their research, so they all get the proper
care. LP is living the life now though, and is loving it! He is our
cuddly Ig!
