This
is our Appaloosa mare, her full name is Foggy Revenue, but we just
call her Foggy for short. She is the sweetest horse ever, and not just for us.
Foggy has been the best horse for several children in the county. She
has lived with us since she was four years old and has trained many
children about care and handling of horses. She is very careful with all
the children that have loved her. She knew that children were special,
and was always gentle and very careful with them, and never nipped
or kicked at a child, just gently let them know if they were doing
something wrong. She taught them more than they could ever have
learned in a book or a class - there's something about her large,
kind self that gets a lesson across.
Foggy is getting older now, as we all do. She is now blind but is still
very gentle and in good shape. And as you can see she still loves to eat
- she knows where the hay bin is, doesn't need any help to find that!
