Paris
is my second pet, the first being a hamster, and Paris is the
center of my every day! My spoiled piggy has everything from a heat pad
to her own toy car! In my eyes, she is special because of her glass-like
eyes and warm furry body. I've wanted a guinea pig for years, and when
I saw Paris at the store, I knew she was the one for me. Named after
the city in France, my piggy lives alone in a two story pig mansion!
I'd longed for the company of a guinea pig, and after the death of my
pet hamster, finally my wish was granted when my parents yielded to my
request. Three months later, I went to the pet store and at once I saw
the pet for me. A small guinea pig with messy hair and shining red eyes
was looking up at me, and her bad hair day won me over at once.
Now, she loves to sit with me on the couch and watch TV as well as lie
down lazily gobbling up green sprigs of cilantro. Her cage has two
stories and she takes pleasure in curling up in her loft with her
blanket or running down stairs to rest in her crunchy timothy hay. Paris
is always there for me to cheer me up or to listen to my problems when
I'm upset. Every morning when I come down the stairs, I can hear my
piggy wheeking or I see her popcorning (jumping) around her cage and I
know that another happy day with Paris is coming our way.
Her hobbies would be eating hay, eating grass, and just plain eating.
She's a mellow piggy, allowing you to pick her up, cuddle or even dress
her. She's sweet, affectionate, and loveable, and loves a good game of
find the treat, but being the spoiled pig she is would rather have the
food come to her.
