This
is my Miniature Shetland Pony Teddy Bear (official name: Simba of
Belmont), peering out at me from under his mane. He is 28 inches high at
the withers and is four years old, so that's as tall as he'll ever get. My
pony is special because he is really sweet for a stallion. He comes in
the house as you can see in the picture (but he lives out in the barn,
of course) and can jump 2ft 9 when we are out jumping! We bought Teddy a
year ago when he was only three. I am just starting to back him and he
is already great! One thing, though - he loves to rub his nose in poop
and then wipe it on your clothes as he is very cheeky. He loves to hang
around with his other pony friends, and bosses them around as he thinks
he is the biggest by being a stallion even though he is the smallest by
far. I think my pony deserves to be the Pet of the Day most of all
because he is my best friend.
