Say
hello to Miss Molly! Molly was my first guinea pig; before getting
her, I don't think I even knew what a guinea pig looked like. She's
still the only self (solid colored) guinea pig I've ever seen in person,
and she's just beautiful! Her pretty red color has inspired a number of
her nicknames, including Big Red; Molly, the Big Red Pig (kind of like a
certain big reg dog); and the Irish piggie. Other nicknames include
Molly May, Molly Moo, and sometimes just "Moo."
She's also unique in that she was probably the smallest of my pigs when
I got her as a piglet - she could fit inside a toilet paper tube - but
she quickly became one of my biggest! As befitting a pig of her
stature, she can be feisty and spunky, but she also loves a good
snuggle. Not for too long, though - once she's ready to go back, she'll
let me know by nibbling my chin. She's now the most senior pig in my
herd, and I hope to have for a long time to come. I love my Molly!
