About Us
Shelly, the Pet of the Day
Name: Shelly
Age: Unknown
Gender: Female
Kind: Hermit Crab
Home: New Jersey, USA
Shelly is my smallest hermit crab. I recently lost my other hermit crab and wanted another one. We wound up with three, two of which never come out of their shells. Shelly always comes out, she is very adventurous and climbs all over everything. She gets into everything and anything she possibly can. She is very docile and has never tried to pinch me.

It's funny how she is so small and she eats all the food. My larger two hardly eat anything, while Shelly spends her nights eating and when I wake up I find only scraps left. She is also the most brave, she is scared of shadows crossing over her but she is not scared when you pick her up. She likes getting a bath, and sits nicely in the water if it is warm enough. Shelly is a wonderful little crab and she's very hammy for the camera! This is her Christmas photo!
