Henri
is a 31 year old Umbrella Cockatoo that I rescued from an abusive
home four years ago. He is the funniest, most mischievous of my three
Cockatoos. He regularly suffers from "bad hair days" as seen in the
photo, but most of all, his antics are what make him special. He and his
two other rescued pals live in their own room in my house.
Henri will cry like an infant, bark like a dog, or scream bloody murder
to get me to come and get him. He always has a toy or piece of wood in
his mouth. Even if he is very naughty, I can't help but laugh. He is
extremely bright and can not only take things apart, but can put them
back together (without intervention). He was also mis-sexed as a girl
his entire life, until he found me! I love Henri!
