Dutchess, the Pet of the Day
Name: Dutchess
Age: One year old
Gender: Female
Kind: Dutch Rabbit
Home: Newnan, Georgia, USA

Hi, I'm Dutchess and I'm a dutch rabbit. I did have a brother named Charlie, but he died because he ate azalea and azalea is poisonous to rabbits. We wanted to tell other bunny owners just so they would know, and their rabbits would be safe. The only difference me and Charlie in markings was the white mark on our faces.

I love carrots and my owners did have a garden and had carrots in it. I dug in it one time and ate some of the carrots. Me and my friend dog, he's named Rufus, will run around chasing each other. It's fun. I like all the weeds in the yard. When I was smaller my owners had a leash and I could fit but now I'm too big for the harness. I live a big rabbit hutch. When it's hot I stretch out and I look like I'm dead, my people say. It looks really funny. I lived with my mother and one brother, Charlie and two sisters before I was adopted and came to the home I live at now. I love my new home. It is nice here and I get yummy things to eat. Those carrots were really good, too, but I guess I was supposed to wait until the humans decided they were ready. Oops!
