[officially Ralph E. Lauren] is a special horse because he has
been in our family for a very long time. He has been passed down from my
older sister to me, and I have now had him for almost three years. We have
owned him for almost seven years. When we bought him, he was a Western
hacking horse and didn't really do that much but hack around. He was
owned by older people who had to sell him because they could no longer
take care of him. When we bought him he looked terrible. His feet
weren't all that great and he was dirty! His mane was very long and
really dirty and gross.
His very first English show was with my sister, and after about six baths
he looked so clean! He is now an awesome horse who has competed in so
many shows with both my sister and I, and has done really well. I first
started riding him before I got my other two horses, and I was about eight or
nine and I was cantering over fences with him! He has a lot of spunk to him
and everyone I have met that "hates" Arabian horses, loves him. He is
not your normal insane Arab. He is gentle with young children and loves
almost everyone. He has great conformation, too, which is really good. I
am in Pony Club, and he is a spectacular Pony Club horse. Ralphe is the
best horse anybody could ask for!
