Apollo
is a sweet little buckskin Quarter Horse. His mama's name is
Xena after Xena the Warrior Princess. Apollo is another warrior name. He
was due first between May 9th and May 17th. Then we were told May 27th, then three
weeks later, then in the 4th week, she finally had him on that Saturday
night. The two sleep in their stall at night, but come out for most of
the day. When they come out in the morning, Apollo gets a jolt of energy
and starts cantering up and down our hill and around Xena. She lets his
go maybe 10 feet away, and then runs after him. He loves to be snuggled.
He will come up to you and let you pet him until he gets tired of it.
He likes to explore everything and is very independent. We look forward
to watching him grow and learn about his world!
