Annie
is special to me because he is so funny and sweet. We laugh at
him every night and every morning before I give him breakfast he insists
on getting cuddled. He was two years old when we got him and had been
neglected and was very sick. He chewed all his tail feathers and most of
his wing feathers off. He had no sparkle in his eyes. He's healthy now
and full of mischief!
Annie can hear my car coming down the street when I'm coming home from
work and I see him stretching toward the window to see if I'm out of the
car yet. When I come in he's making kissy noises until I come over to
kiss him hello.
He's potty trained (pretty well) and he thinks he is the smartest birdie
when he runs to his tree to go potty. He will strut and dances like he's
just performed major surgery!
Annie doesn't talk, maybe he never will be a talker but that's ok. I
know what he wants by his whistle, scream or chirp. He loves french
fries but doesn't get them as much as he'd like. I think his previous
owner fed him nothing but junk food.
He plays on the floor like a dog, rolls over and over and over and spins
around looking at the ceiling. It's so funny to watch him. He is a joy.
