Around
my birthday I was feeling pretty down, my boyfriend and I went to
the pet store to buy my cat some food. When we got there, there was a
bunch of fluffy little balls running around in a pen. I fell in love
with their little ears and cute little faces. I only had enough on me
to buy cat food, so I was little upset when leaving. Well, when my
birthday rolled around we went back to the pet store and surprised me by
saying "pick whatever one you want." I was ecstatic.
When I walked over I saw this little itty bitty ball of fuzz sitting in
the corner by herself, I was in love, I said, "that one!" I went out
and bought everything she could ever need. She turned out to be the
greatest thing to ever happen to me.
Now she's fully grown, about the size of a cat, and the most
affectionate pet I have. She's very playful and energetic, I can't go
anywhere in the house without her following me around. She loves to
take naps with me on the bed, and curl up in my lap to watch tv. She's
very friendly and is always trying to sit with everyone who comes to the
house. She loves to play with the cats, and if they don't want to play,
she pulls out all of her stuffed animals and lines them up across the
room. She loves to play hide and seek: I lay the pillows and blankets
down in the middle of the room, and she hides in them, if you say
"Where's the Daisy," she pops out, if you then say "There's the Daisy!,"
she goes and hides back in the sheets and pillows.
She loves to run laps too, not around the room, but around me. As I sit
in the morning and get ready or if I'm sitting on the floor doing
homework, she goes and goes. She runs behind me in a big circle and
then crosses over my lap and keeps going. Sometimes she'll stop for a
quick ear rub. She's like a little kid with how often she wants to
play.
She's very affectionate and loves to give kisses, and always knows how
to brighten my day. I couldn't imagine my life without her. She keeps
me occupied for hours and makes every day that much better. I look
forward to the many years that I have coming with her.
