This
is Pippin. He is my little miracle. I got him from the pound after
his mom died in giving birth to the rest of his litter. I carried him
around in the hood of my sweatshirt for a month and bottle fed him every
three hours. He loved his brother Luther, who taught him to do all of the
mischievous piggie things, but still remained my little boy. He grew
healthier every day and eventually got to a healthy 3.7 pounds! We now
call him a "Pigloaf". He's such a cuddly pig. He slips under my shirt and
sleeps on my stomach for hours while I'm reading or taking a nap myself.
It is rather embarrassing, however when he does this when I have company
over! He is a free range pig, ever since Luther taught him his trick of
opening the cage door. I gave up after a few months and decided to just
potty train him. He loves to sleep on his baby blanket, and doesn't want
to share with his little sister, Frida. It's his blanket. If he wants to
take a nap, he just drags his blanket over to the spot where he wants to
lay down. It's so adorable. I can't see myself going on without him.
