This
is a picture of my pet, Mahatma. He is deceased now, but he was so
much fun to have around! We never knew how old he was, as he was an
adult when we got him. But we loved him the time he shared with us,
and always will.
Mahatma would sit on your shoulder as you watched TV and could recognize
your voice. He would make cute noises when he was tired and he was
always so full of energy. Here, he was sleeping - way up on the highest
perch, of course - and he looks like a furbee! I recommend chinchillas
as pets for adults because they are easy to manage and fun to play with.
