is Gragas, he is an Icelandic horse. Gragas is a very
special horse, he's always very interested in new things (unlike the
most other horses who run home as fast as they can when they see
something new). He loves to investigate new things, like ride in
"strange" places, visit with friendly dogs and check out new items. His
favorite treats are carrots and, of course, Swedish apples. In my
opinion he's the greatest horse in the world and I wouldn't trade him
for anything! I've had him for about three years and I've never fallen
off of him, and I think that proves what a nice horse he is.
Gragas favorite thing to do when we are out in the forest is to galop as
fast as he can, and that is really fast! He also likes to jump. But as
he is a pretty small horse, and not "made to jump," he sometimes can
have some problems. But he never refuse to jump, if it's possible for
him to jump he will. The thing he does best is tölt, that is a special
gait that the islandic horse is trained to do.
