This
is Tia and she is an ex-racehorse. She is a granddaughter of the
triple crown winner, Seattle Slew. Due to her lack of speed on the
track she was retired by caring owners and given to a racehorse adoption
agency. I adopted her shortly after.
When she first arrived she was very suspicious and nervous around
people. It has taken her about a year to wind down from track life and
settle in. She is very smart and learns quickly. I have used natural
horsemanship training methods with her for the past year and the results
have been remarkable. Through much understanding, patience and love her
true personality has been exposed. She is very sweet and a big baby. I
love her and I wouldn't trade her for anything!
