Hello,
World! Meet Max! He is a nine-year-old Ducorps Cockatoo. Ducorps
Cockatoos are very rare in the United States. We got him from a family
that said you would never be able to pet or hold him, and we can do
both! Just proves what love and kind attention can accomplish!
His favorite food is tator tots and he loves eating bananas, apples,
peanuts, and many other "people" foods! We have a cat and they like to
play and fuss at each other. Max's favorite words are "I'm a bad boy,"
"Hi Max," and "I love my mama!" We have had Max for about five months now
and he has adapted very quickly to our family. Our house wouldn't be the
same without Max Ray!
