This
is Draco, our Bearded Dragon. He's still a baby, really, as he's
just four months old. Draco doesn't do an awful lot of tricks like other
pets, but he is amusing to watch when he chases and catches his crickets
for dinner. He does like his warm baths when I clean out his cage . I
can count on his friend, Smudge the cat, to keep an eye on him while he
is in the bathtub. Draco will also play "tag" thru the glass of his cage
with Smudge, it is very fun to watch. And that way they both stay
perfectly safe from each other's claws, but play anyway!
He enjoys having people talk to him while he perches on his log under
the heat lamp. He always seems to be interested in what you are saying
and never interrupts you. And he'd never gossip, so your secrets are
safe with Draco!
This is our first lizard as a pet and it has been quite a different
experience, and a learning experience, but an enjoyable one - and we
look forward to it continuing for years ahead.
