My
rabbit Tango lived in an animal shelter when I saw her the first
time. She was so cute that I had to take her home immediately, even
though I already had a rabbit and five guinea pigs. I have had her now
for three years and she is so funny. She lives together with the guinea
pigs and Pongo (the other rabbit) in the garden. They have a big area
under a carport (which is just for them) with a fence around and cages
for them to be safe at night.
Tango thinks that this area is too small, so she jumps over the fence
and uses the entire garden. Very often - in fact almost every day - she
jumps over the fence to the neighbor's garden also. Sometimes you don't
see her for the whole day, except when food is coming.
When it is getting dark she comes back, because during the night I put
them all in their cages. She sleeps together with two guinea pigs.
Sometimes it is hard to catch her when she is hiding somewhere and
doesn't want to go into the cage. She even likes to stay outside when it
is raining. The next morning they get breakfast and they come out for
the day again. So they have so much fun.
I have so much fun with her. When I saw her first time, the people told
me nobody wanted her because she would bite but she is fine with all my
guinea pigs and the rabbit and me.
