Bella
is a Hooded Rat who stole my heart while I was buying food and
bedding for my other rat, Rogue. She was propped back against the cage
wall cleaning her belly. Hence the name Bella. I wasn't looking to buy a
second rat but I couldn't resist when I saw her. She is very fast and
agile. She loves to perch herself up on the water bottle to get the best
view of whats going on. She sleeps in a large blue flexible tube where
she and Rogue construct her bed. When she wants to play with Rogue, she
will nuzzle up to her and sometimes lick her to get her attention. She
loves to jump on Rogues' back for little rides also.
When Bella sees the camera come out for picture time, she stops what
she's doing to pose for me. The flash must mesmerize her. She will be
still or move slightly towards my voice when I want her to change her
angle. She's such a little model. Her favorite foods are sunflower
seeds, pumpkin seeds and cheddar cheese. And she always comes, front and
center, for her Yogies (treats).
