Mandy
is the sweetest little thing. She follows us around like a puppy,
and she likes giving us hugs in her own special "donkey" way. In the
picture, we made her a flower chain to wear, but she enjoyed eating them
better than wearing them! Her favorite snacks are apples and sugar
cubes, and she could eat thousands of each if we let her. We are trying
to teach her to lead, and at times she can be rather "mule-headed".
Mandy is scared of our dog, but she loves chasing our cat around the
field! One time she bit our cat on the ear - the cat didn't appreciate
it at all, I think she didn't know Mandy could even catch her!
Mandy loves us coming out to see her, and makes the cutest noises when
she thinks we are ignoring her. Her mother's name is Katrina (we got her
the week of the hurricane). Katrina is very snotty and shy, but Mandy is
the exact opposite, and I love having her as a pet! Donkeys make
wonderful friends!
