This
my Merlin, who is a beautiful blue/grey rat. He celebrated his 2nd
birthday on 17th July, with his four girlfriends (the legs of one and tails
of two can be seen in this picture). I have had him since he was five weeks
old and was the size of my finger. Now he barely fits in both my hands.
He came to me from a pet shop, where he had been abandoned by his mother
and was much smaller than his brothers and sisters.
He is the most affectionate rat and loves nothing more than sitting on
my lap and being tickled between the ears. His favorite treat is choccy
drops, if allowed he would eat a whole packet in one sitting. He is the
best pet anyone could ever have and has bought me nothing but love and fun.
