This
is my beautiful best friend Montana! He is a registered Arabian
gelding, of mostly Polish breeding and is my best friend and trail
buddy!
What makes Montana so special is that he is always there for me when I
need to talk, and listens patiently while I tell him my secrets and
wishes for the future. Montana has a very good sense of humor too, and
loves to clown around so he can make me laugh even on days when I'm
feeling blue. He always brightens my days with sunshine, and our long
trail rides together are definitely some of the best times of my life.
His favorite treats are carrots and peppermint-flavored horse snacks.
He also loves to "snack" before dinner and will happily snatch big
bunches of wild alfalfa and bamboo to much on while we're out on the
trails, lol. I know, I know...it's a bad habit to let him get into,
but I do indulge him occasionally because he so cherished! He loves
to be brushed, groomed, and fussed over. He even lets me braid his
mane and tail!
Montana came into my life recently and when I needed him the most, and
he has made my life matter so very much more on many levels! He keeps me
grounded when life gets too overwhelming! He is absolutely the sweetest
horse to be around, and has even begun to convince my husband, who was
afraid of horses from a bad childhood experience, that horses definitely
can be fun, sweet, silly, very therapeutic... and oh so lovable!
Montana is my beloved... he is my treasure, my best friend, and I am in
awe of his inner and outer beauty, grace, and his truly unique personal
style to boot!
