Wiser
is a very special bird. He was rescued about seven months ago. When we
got him he was dangerously thin, very very skittish and was not able to
be handled. After much love and care, all that has changed.
Wiser is now healthy, happy and sassy. Both me and my husband can handle
him and he enjoys human interaction very much. He came to us in a small
canary cage and his feathers were dull and matted. His diet before
consisted mainly of saltine crackers and carrots. He now is a fantastic
eater and loves to be spoon fed :) He eats his oatmeal and cornmash and
yogurt right off the spoon. He chatters and dances for me and jumps
right up on my hand.
