Oslo, the Pet of the Day
Name: Oslo
Age: One and a half years old
Gender: Male
Kind: Netherland Dwarf Rabbit
Home: Illinois, USA

Oslo is the show pet I have always wanted. I bought him from my 4-H leader's mother who has been breeding Netherland Dwarf rabbits for many years. I was lucky that she just happened to have the color and gender I wanted when I was looking into him. Oslo is colored black Himalayan, meaning he only has pigment on his "points." He's pure white with pink eyes and dark brown on his feet, ears, tail, and nose. He has very good breed type and conformation, plus the personality of the typical Netherland Dwarf, so he usually does pretty well at shows. I plan on using him to start my rabbitry in the future. He was a 4-H project and I was able to convince my parents that he needed to stay forever. He lives in a very large cage in my room and enjoys frequent romps around the house as well as outside on his purple harness. He's very curious, and once he actually ran up to my sleeping 50 pound dog and jumped on his back! Sometimes when he's sitting on my back he'll take a flying leap onto my head. Oslo is the perfect bunny for me!
