My
name is Shark. I love to play with my best friend Chase and he takes
good care of me. I am able to run and burrow quite well. I get excited
just before it rains, running around. I can be lazy when it's very hot
or very cold but in Texas it's very hot most of the time. I love all
vegetables and fruits. I prefer leaves of morning-glory (Ipomaea). I
don't have to eat every day. My best friend Chase does think I look very
cool. Sometimes I go outside to play. I love that. I'm very easy to
take care of. Sometimes I get to sleep in the bed with Chase. I am very
heavy. I weigh 40 pounds and 27 inches long.
Chase here, Shark likes to play tug of war. He is very sweet. Sometimes
he rubs his head on me when he wants attention. He's jealous in his own
way. One time he got into my M&Ms and got sick. I took him to the vet
and the vet said he just had a upset tummy. He's better now and back to
his normal self.
