Jade
is an amazing little girl. I rescued her from a pet store where she
was being badly mistreated (the end of her tail had been broken by an
employee slamming the cage door on her, among other scars) when she was
just barely two weeks old.
She is now a healthy, happy one year old. She's very curious, wanting to
see and explore everything. When she wants attention, she jumps into the
glass of her enclosure to get my attention. If that doesn't work, she'll
hang from the lip of her cage door and demand attention. That usually
does the trick - who could resist?
