||Two years old|
||San Antonio, Texas, USA|
was named after the country singer Reba McEntire, I love her music
and her hit TV show. My guinea pig is a singer as well, she loves to
whistle at me all the time, throwing in some squeaks and she can be very
loud, she also has red hair so I thought Reba would be a perfect name.
She loves to snuggle for hours and she runs around the bathroom while I
take a bath after my workout almost every evening. Reba runs in and out
of her blankets to hide and gets very excited when she hears the water
running in the tub. Reba likes to play with my small dogs as well; she
thinks she's a dog, since there is not another pig around to play with.
She gets plenty of attention from us and the dogs so she is a very happy
piggy. Reba is my own personal pet that I love to just pamper. She
always gets me in a good mood when I come home from work.
Reba eats her Kaytee forti diet pellets and timothy hay. She loves her
hay and eats a lot of it. I give her collard, mustard, turnip and
parsley greens as well as some fruits and veggies. Green beans are one
of her favorites. I mix vitamins in her water so she gets her vitamin C.
All guinea pigs need a Vitamin C supplement or they will eventually get
sick. Her enclosure is a 75-gallon tank with no lid for plenty of air
circulation. Reba loves her PVC tunnels, too.
