This
is our five-month-old donkey Daisy, though she was five weeks old in
this photo. It is not true that donkeys are stubborn, they are just
careful about what they do. And they are very smart and inquisitive - as
you can tell by the photo. She was wondering what that funny box was.
Daisy is a typical adolescent. We sometimes call her Crazy Daisy because
she is into everything and is convinced that the tractor is there for
her enjoyment. Seen in the background is her mother Bridget. Bridget is
a wonderful and patient mother. Daisy will run across the pasture and
try to leap over her mother. We are very lucky to get to share our lives
with these wonderful animals.
