These
are Manuel (light brown) and Basil (grey), our gerbils. Basil and
Manuel are best friends! They share a cage together and love to sleep
cuddled up to each other. They both enjoy having a treat of peanut
butter and the occasional sunflower seed.
Basil was a Valentine's present from my husband and Manuel, who was from
the same litter, arrived a day later. I have had a great deal of
enjoyment from these two, watching them play and explore. They are
really super pets.
We named them Basil and Manuel after the characters in Faulty Towers,
though these two gerbils are nothing like the personalities in the TV
show, Basil is much more kind and gentle! We hope to have these two for
many years to come!
