||Five years old|
||San Diego, California, USA|
adopted Avo in January from another family. This family had found him
five years ago in an avocado tree, this is how Avo got his name. The family
searched for Avo's owners but no one claimed him so they kept him. The
family decided after five years they could no longer keep Avo so I adopted him.
He's a sweet guy, loves to sit on my shoulder or on the back of the
couch while we watch TV. His favorite thing to do though is sing! and
sing loudly. He loves it even better if I will whistle with him. We have
a game I call "Dueling Whistles", kinda like dueling banjo's. Avo will
whistle his little tune, then I will do mine, then Avo will try to out
do me, then I whistle again, and so on. He just loves it when I play
that game with him. Avo also very much enjoys having his head rubbed and
will move his head side to side making sure I don't miss a spot. Avo
also likes to chew on wood and is currently doing his best to whittle
down his wood play gym.
Avo is such a character, and I feel so fortunate that he came into my
life. He's definitely made things more interesting around here.
