Riot, the Pet of the Day
Name: Riot
Age: Three and a half years old
Gender: Male
Kind: Holland Lop Rabbit
Home: Chico, California, USA
Riot is a "torti" colored house bunny with free roam of the whole house, just like a cat. He is unusually great with his litterbox--he only needs one, and wherever he is, he'll go back to use it. He hums softly when he's happy, which is almost all the time. He steals small pieces of paper, like index cards and receipts, then plays a subtle game of chase if you want him to give it back. When you say, "Food, Riot!" he'll run to his food dish. He jumps on the bed to give bunny kisses on your nose, ears and face. Bananas are his favorite treat. When he lays down it looks like he's just been shot: he dramatically flings himself onto his side!

His favorite game is follow the leader, and he loves to knock the standing dustpan over or anything else in the way. When guests come over, he tries to poke his head into backpacks or duffel bags: "Whatcha got in here??" He loves to play outside, doing mad bunny sprints and jumping joyfully. When he's tired, he sits under a chair and waits to go inside again. He is so loved and gets all the petting he wants, even if it makes me a little late going out the door for school and work. He's a bold and curious total cuddle bunny, and he'll sit endlessly while you pet him. He'll sit for 45 minutes straight! Then he'll stretch out and settle down for some more. Riot's a loving, fun little bunny!
