This
is my nine- going on ten-year-old guinea pig Gillian, also known as
Gillybean. She used to belong to my cousin, and came into my care when
my cousin passed away. My own guinea pig, Conquistador Crinkles, a
Textel male, fell in love with her at first sight. Not long after that
Gillian had a stroke which left her on a permanent slant, and had a
second stroke a few months later. This left her unable to have babies,
She wasn't in pain, though, and her "husband" still loved her. And you
can see from the picture, she has no trouble enjoying her food, I
interrupted her in the midst of piece of a tomato.
Sadly, Conquistador Crinkles passed away suddenly in September last
year, leaving Gillian broken-hearted. And now, unfortunately, we have
been told that she has cancer throughout one side of her body and
doesn't have long to live. But she has lived a long time, and we hope
she has had a good life. We love you, Gillybean.
