Hi,
my name is Mrs. Binkie. I'm a ferret! I would have been six years old
this year. My mommy was Rachel. I was mommy's first ferret. I would
always want to snuggle with her, and give her whiskery kisses on her
face. When mommy was sad, I'd come and lay by her feet. She'd pick me
up, and I'd lick away her tears. I was her best friend. After school
everyday, she'd come and tell me what a beautiful ferret I was. She made
me feel special. I was a calm, quiet ferret, I'd love to just sit and
enjoy life with my mom. She was the one who rescued me from the ferret
shelter. I had a bald tail then, because I'd had surgery to remove a
tumor. But she saw through the outside and saw the inside. She saw my
sweet, loving personality. My fur grew back, and she told me I was just
as beautiful as the day she got me as when I had my fur grown back. I
was a spoiled rotten ferret! Top quality food, fresh, soft clean bedding
to snuggle and sleep in, and only the freshest water. Not to mention all
the attention a ferret could ever want! Constant cuddling, kissing, and
snuggling made me feel as warm and fuzzy on the inside as I am on the
outside!
Sadly, Mrs. Binkie passed away peacefully in her sleep earlier this
year. She introduced me to the wonderful world of ferrets. She led me to
find many friends who also share the love of ferrets. She was my
inspiration in life, my comforter, and my best friend. Every time she
looked at me I'd smile. It seemed she would smile back. She was like a
porcelain doll, precious and delicate. One twitch of her nose and one
kiss on the cheek was all it took to make my day. I will always love you
Mrs. Binkie. You may be gone from this earth, but you will never be gone
from my heart.
