Quincy, the Pet of the Day
Name: Quincy
Age: Ten months old
Gender: Male
Kind: Blue-masked lovebird
Home: Ohio, USA

This in my blue masked lovebird Quincy. He loves to dig in his bowl of toys and beep, squeak and squawk to let us know he is happy. This is him hanging out on Grandma's toes.

Quincy starts his day by softly beeping, telling us that he is awake and wants to be uncovered. If we wait too long he let's us know with some pretty loud squawks for such a little thing. He is about five inches long. After he is uncovered in the morning the cage door is opened and he is free to go in and out. He is really the independent type, he loves to climb all over his cage and his play stand. His favorite game is to throw his toys off his playstand onto the floor, so I pick them all up, and then we do it all over again. He and I have some quality time about twice a day, he is so sweet, I can give him kisses all over and he will kiss me back by nibbling on my nose. This doesn't last too long and he is ready to get back to his cage and all his toys. When he ready to go home he flies across the living room, runs as fast as he can to his cage and climbs up his ladder.

Quincy is my little baby and I love him very much.
