was told she was a dwarf rabbit, but after researching online, I have
no idea what breed she really is. It doesn't matter, though - she is
just Skye! We received Skye and her brother who we named Coca-Cola for
his sleek black fur. We had to prove that we could take care of the
rabbits and had a week trial at it. We succeeded but unfortunately Coke
died about five years ago because of stomach worms.
Skye can go from having tons of energy to being what looks like the
laziest thing alive in a matter of minutes. She is also very
intelligent. I never really tried to "potty" train her, when I would
let her out of her cage, she just seemed to pick up on it on her own.
She's a very sweet animal, only having bit someone once when she was
actually just nipping at the jeans. How is she supposed to know there's
a person under there? When I had two mice, she would let them crawl all
over her and around her and not appear to care at all.
Some of her favorite activities would be sleeping, eating, and laying
around. She's not the active bunny these days. She used to play
"soccer" with me. I'd push a ball around and try to get it around her
and she'd push it back at me. She is my first rabbit. She was given to
my brother and I by my other brother's girlfriend for free. And what a
gift she has been all these years!
