This
is our baby bunny Sprinter! He is a two-month-old Dutch cross, but
we're not sure what other breed he's been crossed with. We got him from
the SPCA during one of our regular visits to the bunny room. Sprinter
was so friendly, inquisitive and playful that we couldn't resist giving
him a bigger home to play in - ours! He was skin and bones when we
first brought him into our home. But now, after lots of timothy hay and
pellets, he has put on a bit more weight and truly lives up to his name.
Several times a day, he will suddenly leap into action and sprint
around his cage, pausing to peer over the corners, dart around obstacles
and into his cardboard box, before coming back out and bounding onto the
roof of his box. He does this so quickly that our eyes can hardly keep up!
His other hobbies include playing with willow branch balls, grooming,
peering into cardboard rolls, and listening to music (it always puts him
into a trance!) He's just a great little guy!
