Alfie
is a beautiful Orange-Bellied Senegal Parrot. He is very spunky,
and he can be really bossy. He is only selectively nice to my husband,
but he is always nice to me!
Alfie does not talk, but he imitates cell phone rings, microwave
beeps, wolf whistles, and kissing sounds. When he looks at me and
makes the kissing sound, he is asking for a kiss. Who could resist?
He loves to eat. His favorite food is broccoli, and he will hold a
floret in one foot while he eats it. He also loves pear, sweet potato,
nuts, banana, apple, and pasta. His favorite activity, when he is not
eating, is destruction. He shreds Kleenex and rips apart wooden toys
with great enthusiasm.
We love Alfie and think he is really entertaining!
