This
is Amelia all dressed up for her gala first hatch day celebration.
Amelia only weighs 21 grams but she is bursting with personality. She
lives up to the adage that Parrotlets are big birds in a small package.
Amelia loves to hang out with her people. She also enjoys chattering at
her step-siblings Hawk (Senegal) and Dorian (Congo Grey) but she keeps
her distance from them, which is probably wise, considering her size.
One of the things I really love about Amelia is that she is always ready
to play. Just open the door to her cage and she drops whatever she is
doing and runs to greet you. One couldn't ask for a better best friend.
