This
is my rabbit, Marti. I got her for Christmas from my mom because I
had always wanted a Silver Marten. I brought her to my grandma's house
one day to show her to my aunt (who loves rabbits) and she dropped her
on the floor. She broke her front leg and had to wear a silly blue cast
for six weeks. She's all better now but her leg doesn't bend anymore.
This is a picture of her before she was injured.
Marti loves to cuddle. She lives in my bedroom because I would feel bad
about putting her in our barn. Every night I take her out of her cage
and she burrows into my lap and sleeps. She is very playful and has
little "spaz attacks" where she'll hop around my room on three legs at
full speed. She loves my other bunnies and always tries to play with
them. She has a gourmet diet of apples, broccoli, peanuts, rabbit
pellets, grass, and hay. She will eat anything but carrots... pretty
weird, huh?
