I
got Bobbie from a good friend of mine, both of us thinking that Bobbie
was a little boy. Yes! A friend for Jamie (my female wild color Fisher's
Lovebird). Of course I once wanted "Jamie Babies", but I had a DNA test
done and Bobbie was female too.
But this isn't a problem for me. I love Bobbie, no matter if she's male
or female. It took me months to put Bobbie in the same cage as Jamie,
Jamie is quite a character, for sure! But now they have lived in the
same cage for about half a year now and things are great. Well, they
sometimes are fighting or sometimes are cuddling, but overall get along
well.
Bobbie is very shy, so her wings are clipped a little bit. Now she will
step up now and then. Once I have her in my hand I can cuddle and hug
her, but also only when she is in the mood!
They all love to play outside their cages, I do have more lovebirds (in
total I have seven lovebirds). Then it is party time!!
