Dook,
dook! That's the sound Mei makes when she gets excited, along with
her running around the bedroom and pouncing on plastic bags. Mei is my
adorable and sweet ferret. I bought her from a pet store, after weeks of
searching for the "right one." She was just six weeks old and didn't try
to bite me at all, I knew it was going to be a good match.
Mei's name means plum and pretty in Chinese. She still doesn't bite
unless you make her very mad (i.e: pull her away from the computer
cables she's chewing on). She really likes to jump in the tub and drink
from the faucet. Sometimes she gets so excited about the tub, that she
forgets I'm taking a shower or bath and jumps right in! Mei is not a
happy ferret when she's submerged in water and looks like a sewer rat.
She's super cute when she's wrapped up in one of her fleece blankies and
just wakes up, she yawns, stretches and loves to lick.
I love my Mei!
