Hello,
this is me, sitting in an Easter basket, me, the real and true
me, the Easter Bunny (a.k.a. Inky)! Other than hiding bright and
colorful eggs around the yard and providing baskets of goodies for
children on Easter morning, my hobbies include: shredding newspaper,
attacking paper towel tubes, chasing my favorite toys around, and
chewing on my cage bars. I also like to take my mommy for walks around
the basement, but she has some trouble keeping up with me. My favorite
toys are chewable things like paper lunch bags, phone books, paper towel
tubes, a green plastic ball with a bell inside, and piles of newspaper.
Sometimes, I'm good and sometimes, I'm bad. Mostly, my mommy tells me
I'm a good girl, but I don't like it very much when she scolds me. My
mommy says I'm good because I have really good litter habits and like to
keep myself clean. She also tells me that she can't trust me so much
because I like to explore places that I'm not allowed to go. My
favorite veggies are turnip greens, dandelion greens, chicory, and all
kinds of lettuce (except Iceberg). My mommy is surprised that I don't
have a sweet tooth; I don't like any fruits and please, don't leave a
carrot out for me for Easter!
My mommy tells me that I am a really spoiled bunny, (but, hey, I like
living a life of luxury) and also I am her favorite snuggle bunny. I
love it when she hugs me close and talks to me in a high-pitched voice
(that she doesn't use for anyone else) because it makes me feel really
special. She also tells me that she thinks I'm really cute, especially
when I do my "binkies" (when a bunny jumps into the air and twists its
head and body in opposite directions before falling back to the ground)
because the she knows that I am truly a happy bunny. My mommy and I are
best friends, who will always be there for each other, and we love each
other with all our hearts; I know, we will forever. I feel so lucky,
and I know, my mommy does too!
