||Two years old|
||Rex Guinea Pig|
||Groningen, Groningen, the Netherlands|
got Lotje from my mother's boyfriend, the day my other guinea pig Winky
passed away. She was the most active piggie in the cage and I picked her
also because she was a rex piggie like Winky had been. Lotje is still a
very lively guinea pig, always asking for food or eating. This picture
was made for the piggie calender we made for 2006. We liked this picture
best with her in the spring setting. Lotje does not liked to be petted,
but is very fond of people (as long as we don't touch her too much, that is).
Lotje is my happy piggy, as long as there is food, everything is fine
by her. In other words her main interests are food, food and food!
She has a very special bond with my sister's piggy Yaya. They have
known each other since Yaya was about six weeks old. they really like to
lick each others ears, but Lotje hates to have us touch her ears!
Her nickname is Kamikaze Lotje, because she likes to jump of the couch
out of nowhere. She also likes to try on the purple cape (which is
actually the hammock), we think she fantasizes about being a superpig
flying from the couch looking for where the vegetables are coming from.
Lotje and my boyfriend also have a special bond. When he calls her
name she will come running hoping to get a treat from him. he is
always allowed to pet her, but mostly i am not allowed to pet her.
She loves to play with the snackball, it has an opening where the
treats leave the ball. she will keep playing with it until it is
empty. She is a happy pig!
