I'm Rocket - I'm a four-year-old green iguana and this is my friend
Burly, a one-year-old Cockatiel. We have a lot more in common than most
would think. We were both rescued by our owner Nicole. I was in a pet
store with many other Iguanas and was very sick. She found me and took
me home and nursed me back to health. Burly was an SPCA rescue, his
owners could no longer keep him because his buddy, a Macaw, beat him up
a lot.
We love our home, we get lots of treats and love. Burly and I take
showers together and like to hangout and watch TV as you can see in this
picture. I am watching with my eyes shut, but people do that, too I have
noticed. Our mom sometimes asks if we know what we are watching but she
can't understand us when we answer. If our mom didn't rescue us, we don't
know what would have happened to use, we love our mom.
